Labour's pivot on uncontrolled migration makes sense
Unsustainable unemployment, underinvestment in the unskilled, and a 'red wall' to win back, Starmer's stance reconnects Labour with its traditional voters that turned Tory.
Sir Keir Starmer's call for the UK to wean itself off of "immigration dependency" by supporting a points-based system is seen by many as a cynical way to win back traditional Labour voters. However, by signalling that Labour is serious about putting traditional Labour voters and British workers first I want to give him the benefit of the doubt- for now.
